The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), was established in 1948, under the patronage of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, with a vision to spearhead the growth of aeronautics & aerospace in the country. The objective of the Society is to promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge of Aeronautical & Aerospace Sciences/Technologies. With 18 branches across the nation, a dedicated Journal Office, two Design Divisions, and with a robust membership exceeding 15,000 professionals, over 10,000 student members and 66 corporate members, AeSI has been at the forefront, pioneering advancements in aeronautics & aerospace and fostering a connected ecosystem of Services, R&D organisations, industry & academia, propelling India towards global leadership.
The Bangalore Branch of the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) is one of its most active and prominent regional centers, playing a key role in advancing the Society’s vision of promoting aeronautics and aerospace in India. Situated in the hub of India’s aerospace ecosystem, the Bangalore Branch actively collaborates with R&D organizations, academia, and industry to promote innovation and knowledge sharing. It also hosts the Society's CFD and Design Divisions, and regularly organizes technical lectures, workshops, and major events like the Aero India International Seminar. Through its initiatives, the Bangalore Branch significantly contributes to India's growth as a global aerospace leader.
